I will do just about anything the holistic way to better the quality of my life & living happily with my EndoMonster 👻 which lead me to finding this. I mean imagine if you could balance your pH levels, clear your skin of acne, help your digestion, immune & circulatory systems, any IBS or stomach problems & help increase your energy levels all day by taking a miracle shot each morning?!

{ Insert: MER'S ACV CONCOCTION }

It's not really mine haha BUT I have adjusted it so it works for my body & the EndoMonster 👻 I have 100% felt & can see a huge difference in the last 30 days. Every morning for the last 30 days I have been taking a shot of the Mer ACV Concoction & have witnessed every positive thing happen. My pH levels evened out & I could legit smell the difference if you know what I mean, my acne cleared up all over, I legit have clear glowing skin, my hair is growing without split ends, Lucky is loving the tushy rubs with my long strong nails & my poop is on point!

Here's what you need -

  1. Bragg Organic Raw and Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
    • If you don't get the Bragg's ACV make sure it reads "With the Mother" it looks like a dark, cloudy substance in your jar - that’s the mother. The mother is the result of natural enzymes & minerals in the vinegar. Once it gets heated or processed then the mother is killed (dramatic AF, right?!) but that's where all the good stuff! So if your gonna do - do it right.
  2. Lemon
  3. Cayenne pepper
  4. Cinnamon
  5. Raw Local Honey
    • You do want to look for your honey to read exactly Raw Local Honey. Today the regular honey that doesn't read that is filled with artificial sugars from over heating & processing & you are trying to do the opposite of that. Unlike processed honey, raw honey does not get robbed of its incredible nutritional value & health powers.
    • If you get seasonal allergies you must get local. It will 100% help. The bees are getting are getting nectar from the very plants that are making you sneeze & feel like crap! So with honey you can ingest the very allergen that is troubling you.
  6. Water - I use cold water but you can do room temp or warm. Try a few diff options & see which is best for you!

Now go grab a super cute cup & start making the concoction -

  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 caps filled of ACV
  • 1 fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp. raw local honey

Mix & chug!

Now here's some real truth - you will look & feel exactly like Ross the first few times. This shit burns, it might really upset your stomach & you might even feel like a drunk buzz going on. It's normal. Just have water on hand to chug right after & I always leave a little extra honey on my spoon. The honey helps SO much!

If you really want to see & feel your skin glow, your metabolism get back on point, detox your insides, help you flow better & get more energy you have to stick to it every day. Ok?? 30 days! Not just a couple days & use whatever your fav excuse is "I don't see or feel anything." "I can skip a day." "I forgot."

If you're like me you've done some damage to your insides mentally & physically. Everything from binges, purges, starvation, self hate, cleanses, fad diets, pills & a lot negative feelings about our bodies. Think of this as giving back to your body & healing from within. Your metabolism & entire being on the inside need to repair from the years of damage. These little steps, these small habits will compound over time my life. These things take time. Mer's FAV super easy protein packed Breakfast

introducing the most unappealing {super weird} but extremely delish/easy/fast/inexpensive breakfast...

eggs with coconut oatmeal! {yes, you read that right!}

I have been following the Endo Diet almost 3 years now. I was super strict for 1 whole year & then realized that's just not how I want/can live. I've learned to listen to my body & realized how truly unique each Endo Monster 👻 is & our bodies are so different.

For my first year following the Endo diet I removed all eggs. The reason for removing eggs from your diet when you have a chronic illness like we do is because eggs are like a binder.. I mean think about when you cook - you use eggs to hold things together, right? So that's what happens to our insides. But I really like eggs, they are amazingly healthy for you {not just the egg white either. the entire egg🍳} & they really keep me full all morning. What I do is just get really great organic brown eggs from hens that are vegetarian feed without any extra BS like hormones or pesticides. I limit my egg in take to about 3-4x a week & have found my body really is happy with that. Any more than 4x a week my insides don't like me! 💩💩💩💩

ingredients: 

directions:

cook oatmeal as per instructions. in non stick pan, scramble your eggs. grab a big bowl & combine eggs into oatmeal with a tbsp coconut oil & pink himalayan salt.

mer's tip:
read through directions on your oatmeal {some brands take longer than others - my personal fav is the trader joe's brand that takes 5 mins!) 

Try it out for about 2 weeks to really see what your body thinks of eggs.

Poached Eggs on top Lemony Spinach

8 minute breakfast! perfect for on the go or even breakfast in bed! filled with tons of protein, iron & anti inflammatory properties! 

ingredients: 

  • 2 cups & 2 tbsp of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 brown organic eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of spinach 
  • 2 slices of GF toast 
  • 1/2 avocado (optional) 

directions: 

  • boil 2 cups of water with a squeeze of fresh lemon
  • break the 2 eggs in a small bowl. when the water comes to a boil, add the eggs slowly into water & leave to poach about 5-8 minutes
  • in a non-stick pan, heat up 2 tbsp water & remaining lemon juice. add spinach & cook until wilted
  • pile spinach onto a plate & top with poached eggs
  • serve with gf toast & avocado

Ok where my girls at that have grown up HATING your legs or part of your body {or like me hating everything-head to toe}

I just had one of those days where everything WORKS! Hair, makeup, outfit, shoes & jewelry #onPoint 💅💃💁 & realized something that I have been doing for only a short period of time.. When I feel cute & good I take full blown selfies! 📷📷 like no shame, no trying to stand up tall, suck things in, turn to my "good side" 😂😂😂 I can finally for the first time in 29 years legit look myself in the eye & be so happy with who I am inside & out. 

If you have ever had those feelings of self hate you aren't alone. The first time I wore shorts in public for an event was 4 years ago. I've always hated my legs more than anything & here I am proud of them in some super short white shorts!

Summer Leg Challenge - Day 1

Day 1!

The most important thing with squats is FORM! Make sure your knees are right over your big toes on the way down, pull your belly button all the way in and keep your chest up & your knees soft. Try this for 1 minute, count how many you can do without stopping. Write that number down with today's date. 

Try both options! How did you do??

Summer Leg Challenge - Day 2

Day 2

Lunges are super powerful but can cause joint pain if done wrong. Make sure your knees are right over your toes. All the power (and/or pain) will be in that front leg. Your back leg is just there for some support! Belly button pulled in super tight, chest up & SQUEEZE! 

Try this for 1 minute, the rest 30 seconds, 1 more minute, then rest 30 seconds.... 4x TOTALLY THROUGH!

Summer Leg Challenge - Day 3

Day 3 (knee lift OPTIONAL)

Side Lung (knee lift OPTIONAL

When you step out to the side, please make sure your FORM is on point! That means your back is flat, stomach is pulled in tight and your knee is right over your big toe! You should still be able to see your sneakers! 


15x each leg! Repeat 3x on both legs! 

*don't forget to do both sides!*

Summer Leg Challenge - Day 4

Day 4!

Balance is KEY! To get great balance keep your stomach pulled in super tight, try to spread out your toes on the foot on the ground, focus on one thing about 6 feet right in front of you, take a deep breath and just go for it! Use your knee of the leg off the ground for extra support if you need just by tapping the ground as you come up! 

Try it for 30seconds on, 10 second rest. Repeat 3x on one side then repeat on other leg!😉

Summer Leg Challenge Day - 5

Day 5!

Do 12 Singles, then 12 with the pulse! Repeat 3x on EACH leg! ;) 


Keep your hands right under your shoulders, stomach is in tight, knees are shoulder width apart and your back is flat! Remember the height of your foot doesn't matter.. what matters is in the SQUEEZE at the top! 

TIP: make sure you have something under the knee on the floor for extra support!

Summer Leg Challenge - Day 6

Day 6!

One of my FAV leg workouts! Please make sure you watch me in the beginning when I move my legs behind each other. Take your time with this one. It might feel odd at first but take your time, watch both views! 

Your goal is to keep your shoulders and hips square facing forward. You don't have to go that low in the squat either! Try it and let me know!! 

12x each leg, 3x through :) 

Don't forget to do both legs!😉

PULSE IT!! 
 

Ok this is it! LAST ONE!! I want you guys to think POWER here! Start off with your legs shoulder width apart. You are going to do a little pulse in a low squat for 3 counts, then take a big step back with your right leg into your lunge. Now the further you step back the better it is for your knees and ankles. So trust me when I say take a BIG STEP back. Try to go as low as you can in that lunge. Start by staying up a little higher like in Beginner. But if you want a challenge.. I want that hand touching the floor! 

TIP: keep your belly button pulled in really tight. When your belly button is pulled in tight automatically your back is flat! That's is key! Keep that front knee right over your big toe too! 

Do this 1 minute straight, alternating between right foot lunge and left foot lunge. Take a 30 second break, then repeat 2 more times!

Baked Sunflower Seed Apples

My amazing new creation! I felt like having a fancy dessert tonight so I made this bad boy to satisfy that sweet tooth without undoing my entire day.

I obvi had to have some vegan soyfree ice cream too!

 

Ingredients:

-Organic granny smith apple

-GF instant oatmeal

-Sunflower seed butter

-Cinnamon

-Pink Himalayan Salt

Prep:

Slice the top off of your apple and save. Core out the middle of your apple enough to add oatmeal & sunbutter. Add as much, as little or anything else you’d like to! Top your dessert off back with the top of the apple and bake in the over at 350° for 12 minutes. Serve with Vegan Soy free ice cream and top with Pink Himalayan Salt! ENJOY!!! 

Moroccan Carrot Salad

This salad is no joke, amazing, so easy to make, delish & has tons of amazing health benefits!! I have this salad as a meal over greens or just alone as a snack!

Ingredients:

-3 medium carrots

-2 tbsp. evoo

-2 tbsp. lemon juice

-2 tbsp. cilantro

-1 chopped garlic clove

-1/4 tsp. ground cumin

-1/2 tsp. paprika

-dash of cinnamon

-Pink Himalayan salt.

Prep:

Grate carrots & combine with all of above in a large bowl, cover & let marinate for 2 hours & enjoy!!

Quick Easy Dinner

Need a quick easy & super clean delish meal for dinner??

All of this I made in 5 mins! It's all in the prep work!

Ingredients:

-Red Quinoa {all you do is boil 1 cup with 2 cups water for 15mins!}

-Steam broccoli

-Frozen wild organic shrimp

-Cinnamon

-Cumin

-Red pepper flakes

Prep:

Bake the shrimp at 350 for 12mins with sprinkles of cinnamon, cumin, red pepper flakes, pink Himalayan salt & pepper. While baking, boil water for quinoa & follow directions. Steam broccoli (or veggie of choice) & top with some fresh lemon!

Tip:: this meal is so yummy. I make enough for 4 meals but when I got back into the kitchen it was all gone & had to make more! 

Grilled Poblano Pepper & Corn Salad

Ingredients:

-1 roasted corn on the cob

-1 roasted poblano pepper

-Organic Mixed Salad

-Cherry tomatoes

-Choice of protein (fish, turkey, chicken)

-Pink Himalayan Salt

-Black pepper

-1 lemon

 

Prep:

Toss all ingredients together, top with Pink Himalayan Salt, Black pepper, cilantro & freshly squeeze lemon! Best salad EVER! Filled with protein, veggies & will keep you full for hours!
